MEET THE ARTIST
Adam’s work investigates the complexities and dynamics of relationships and the role language plays as both a force of connectivity and a force of disintegration.
Formally trained in literary and rhetorical analysis, Adam works with both the visual and the textual, combining the absurd and the serious into works that celebrate, yet interrogate life. His paintings and illustrations include numerous allusions, ranging from classical works of literature and philosophy, to pop-culture and current issues of identity and media saturation.
Adam has exhibited extensively in galleries large and small, from the Tampa Museum of Art, to pop-up guerrilla art shows in coffee shop bathrooms.
He currently keeps studios in St. Petersburg, FL and Asheville, NC.
