ABOU THE WORK

The work explores and embraces the horizon of political theater spectacle. The friendly, “cozy” politician as a constructed Composite Figure (husband/wife) draped in the guise of an “average good-old fashion American.” In this work, one half of that Figure is represented as a learn how to draw parody, highlighting the sorts of propaganda used to familiarize and de-fang power hungry political entities.
